These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Looopr mobile app and looopr.app website (together, the "Service"), operated by Astron Tech B.V. ("Looopr", "we", "us"), a company based in the Netherlands. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Looopr generates circular walking routes with curated stops for food, culture, and points of interest. Some features are available for free; others require a Looopr Pro subscription.
2. Accounts
You need an account to save routes and sync your walk history. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account secure. You can delete your account at any time in-app under Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete My Account.
3. Looopr Pro Subscription
Looopr Pro is an auto-renewing subscription offered through the Apple App Store. The following applies to all subscription purchases:
- The exact price, billing period, and any introductory or trial offer are shown in the app before you subscribe, and on the App Store product page.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Cancelling turns off auto-renewal; it does not refund the current period.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
- Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with its own policies, not by Looopr directly. See Apple's support page on requesting a refund.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service: no reverse engineering, scraping, interfering with its operation, or using it for unlawful purposes. Route suggestions are generated automatically and may include construction, closures, or conditions we can't predict — use your own judgment and stay safe while walking.
5. Third-Party Services
Looopr relies on third-party services (Supabase, Google Places, Mapbox, Apple MapKit, RevenueCat, Sentry, and Apple/Google Sign In) to function. We don't control and aren't responsible for the availability or accuracy of data from these providers. See our Privacy Policy for details on how data is shared with them.
6. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that routes, points of interest, or opening hours are accurate or up to date. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Astron Tech B.V. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer under Dutch or EU law.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
